Buckley is an artist and writer based in Los Angeles. Her
writing appears regularly on Artforum.com and in magazines
including Art in America, Make Magazine, GLASS, Wild
Blue Yonder, and Yoga Journal. From 2008-9,

Annie's photographic collages and sculptural works have
been included in numerous exhibitions since 1993, including
being part of a group show at Torrance Art Museum and a
recent solo show at Carl Berg Gallery. Her work is represented
in Los Angeles by Jancar Gallery, where she will has a solo

Annie is a credentialed teacher, curriculum author, and
educational consultant. She has developed and coordinated
numerous programs in yoga and creative arts for schools
and nonprofits since the early nineties. She was a field
supervisor at UCLA Graduate School of Education and TeachLA
for seven years and has been a guest lecturer at the San
Francisco Art Institute and UCLA Graduate School of Education.
Also a certified yoga instructor and long-time yoga practitioner,
Annie has taught yoga and meditation to children, teens,
and adults in schools, yoga studios, and arts and community

Annie received a BA with Academic Honors from UC Berkeley
in 1990 and an MFA from Otis College of Art and Design in
2003. She has completed post-graduate work in psychology,
education, and writing.
